Hello,
i recently finished building a homepage in OpenCart. But theres one thing that i must do before it can go online.

I need multilingual banners and luckily there was a free extension for this (here).

I have OpenCart 2.0.3.1 with VQMod installed (i verified it because i already have an extension installed which uses VQMod).

Anyways as soon as i upload the "multilingual_banners.vqmod.xml" in Extensions -> Install it says the installation was succesful. It also shows the correct extension in extension list.

But when i go to my banners i only see the OpenCart thumbnail picture instead of my "normal" banner thumbnails. It also doesnt shows any multilingual options like it should do and like the demo showed me. Until now the module still shows up normally on my homepage. When i edit a banner image it breaks the whole module and lets it disappear from the homepage (depending on which banner set i edit). Even after i deactivated and deleted the extension, the banner module is still broken and i cannot manage it to get it back up. Even after creating a new Slideshow module or disabling and re-enabling the modules or banner images.

SQL Restore didnt fixed the problem. I had to reinstall the whole FTP backup and now the banner module works again.

What am i doing wrong? In the extensions comments people say it works flawless. This is extremly important for me.

After installing the extension suddenly the banner page looks like this:

It shows that it is installed succesfully:

When i upload a new banner its the only one with a thumbnail (the first one with the thumbnail showing is the uploaded one, the whole module is still not showing on my homepage)

You don't have to use the extension installer for vqmod extensions.
To add vqmod file you have to upload it via ftp in vqmod/xml folder.
This extension is changing the database and if installed wrong simple uninstalling doesn't help.

If you really need this functionality you can buy my extension which doesn't change the database and is more flexible.
