Custom Registration Form

Hi guys

I'm looking at developing a custom registration form - this requires a lot more than what comes with a standard application form. I've created the form and was making progress with it, but now I'm at a loss.

I need to write this up myself, not using any third party extensions, as this is a project taken over from another developer, and they've somehow messed up OpenCart - it's most odd, as new extensions will not work, and a rebuild is out of the question.

So I've got the form all coded up, using PHP variables for the values, but I've only gleaned what scarce information I can on the subject off the internet, and need a lot more guidance.
