I'll try to explain the better i can what i need - i refer to www.beautyspot.ro, the site based on opencart realized by bogdan I - i asked him the same question but he didn't answer me - now, i don't know if it's correct to ask the same question in the forum, but i try, even beacuse it can be useful to someone else.

I refer, as an example, to the page http://www.beautyspot.ro/index.php?cont ... uct_id=287 where, under the name of the product, you can read something very similar to "see other products of (Vezi toate produsele de la)..." and the name of the brand.
So, what i would like to add to my site too is just this link to the brand page.
I've to say that I've organized the categories both by manufacturer and by product. I really can't, having more than 500 products, add "manually" the link in each product page!
But, in the admin control panel, in the product data, i've already put in the manufacturer.
I hope I've given enough information to have an answer...

thank you

pat

thanks

Have a look at this site. http://www.china-mobile-phone.com/search

These guys use opencart and have tailored the search facility to produce the various "topic" searches that are not related to their actual categories. Its really clever. Have a look at some individual products in detail and you will see how they have structured the description to contain the equivalent of searchable metadata.

Hi Bruce!
Yes, it's very nice but or I don't understand what you mean or it's not what I'm looking for.
I need only a link to an existing category (from the product page to the manufacturer page that is a category). As I wrote, I could do it product by product but I think it's absurd. I think it's surely possible (as bogdan I did) to create a peace of code to add or to modify the code to realize what I need. Maybe I could try to manage the Manufacturer filter to obtein what I need.

Thanks bruce

It looks as if beautyspot.ro has a new controller page that displays manufacturer in exactly the same way as for the category controller page.

In addition, they have added the manufacturer link to the product controller page to redirect to the new manufacturer controller page AND created a new module for displaying the manufacturers as if they were another category on the left of the page. Their actual categories are across the top.

Its very neat.
