Is it possible to temporarily turn off extensions. I've just install Openbay pro but can't list products. I've had a nose around the posts and someone else had a similar issue because they had a modified product manager. I just want to knock it off quickly to see if its effecting it.

Thanks

If the modification is a vqmod, in your ftp navigate to vqmod > xml and rename the xml's by adding an _ at the end. Then when you want to enable them back, rename the files back to .xml

Thanks.

Solved the problem but created another one as I want the ability to use both product manager and openbay but the "list on ebay" option doesn't available if you are using PM but thanks again.

By renaming the file, assure there are no multiple subjects running at the same time. This is the dangerous part of coding when two separated XML files targets the same PHP files as well as the same lines on one XML file to another, unfortunately.

Hello! what if the extension is not a vqmod extension?

/index.php?route=module/poll/answerPoll
/index.php?route=module/poll/answerPoll
/index.php?route=common%2Fhome

Hi,

if the extension is neither an OCMod extension, under the admin extensions modules page, you can set the module status to either enabled or disabled.

Hello Straightlight , thank you for responding. I forgot to mention that i can't access my admin panel ..
apparently the module "Poll Module" caused a fload and the server saw it as an attack or something.
so my page went down. I told the guys in charge of the server provider and asked for my IP address , they said
that they were going to give me access to my admin panel but i still can't access it. Now my page is showing "403-FORBIDDEN" .

An unusual way to do this would be by removing the module files manually or to switch status value from PHPMyAdmin console. Although, it is quite unusual to have a forbidden page for accessing a web console after a possible brute force attempt. At this point, only your host could determine a solution for this.

The file may have just been removed intentionally with or without consent but if you were not aware of this as you believe it was done without awareness, your host might be able to help you with that regarding file activities on your server.
