Smart importer exporter not importing

Hi all,

I'm having a problem with an extension called smart importer exporter where when I import an excel spreadsheet it will load and load and look like it's uploading the file then it will go to a page saying The connection was reset - The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading blah blah

I've since decreased the size of the file and still get an error page - the page you requested cannot be found

I've tried this several times with the same thing happening over and over. The size of the file is 12mb with 10,000 products in the file. I've decreased it to 2000 and I increased my server memory limit and max post limit as I was getting an error from those two things, but I'm getting this error so I don't know what's going on.

Do you think it could be a permission that needs to be set higher?

I've tried contacting the author, but they unresponsive even contacted opencart but they have been no help at all.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
