Hi all,

Is there anyway to have the admin order form auto-fill with customer information?

Assuming the customer has already entered their details and created an account.

Thanks!

I just realized it's supposed to work in the admin area.

Sales > Orders > Insert

But it's not working! I have created a test customer and entered the First name and Last name...no autocomplete shows up.

I'm using 2.0.3.1.

Please help!

Hi all,

I'm trying to get the customer details to auto-complete based on registered customers' data, similar to the way adding categories to products.

Can this be done here?

Have you installed any contributions which one might physically or indirectly alter the admin/view/template/sale/order_form.tpl file?

What you can also do is to open your browser debugger tool (F12) and notice if you encounter any errors. The admin error logs or system/logs/error.txt file might also be of great help to identify the issue.

Hi Straightlight,

Nope, I have not touched the order_form.tpl. The only extension I installed is a non-working payment processor that is installed into the admin/controller/payment folder.

the logs/error.txt contains nothing but the errors caused by that non-working payment processor.

Got something from the Chrome console, seems to be related to the order form right?

Yes, it may be leading to an invalid resource or address. Since this is about a payment module, I wiuld suggest to communicate with the author regarding this problem.

OK,

I removed the entire store, and reinstalled. Still doesn't solve the problem. :-\

There's nothing in the system error logs. 0 bytes....

The console looks clean...

I just tried running this on Internet Explorer, and got a pop up.

Any clues from this?

It looks like this is a cURL loopback restriction issue. The message does indicate that more information can be found in the error logs but if you can't see any updated errors in there, I would suggest looking into your apache log on your host console. If you don't have access to your host logs, it would rather be suggested to contact your host.
