Restrict extension

Hello,

I'm looking for an extension with which I can manage that which manufacturer's products can see a customer group.
For example the wholesale customers can only see the Adidas and Nike shoes, but the default group can see all of the products.

I've found some extensions, but how can I be 100% sure that is compatible with a purchased template? The author of the template can't say it. The only way is to test it?

Absolutely correct, test them, one after one. I just had such a case, when one simple 'Admin' Function VqMod produced an sudden 'full stop' error, by trying to call Categories or Products, after installing an enhanced multi-function admin Extension.

If a Mod works with a DEFAULT OC Theme, it can just about always be modified to 'function' on/with a Custom Theme.
But it is impossible, for a Mod-Designer, to KNOW, or guarantee, anything, since uncounted Themes exist, doing their
Job in different ways. Therefore, it depends on the Mod-Seller, check on his/her Reputation, before deciding on
investing your Money, into unknown Work, of possibly unknown Sources.

In addition to this, any VqMod COULD possibly 'collide' with another Mod, previously installed, due to the Principle of DESIGN of this 'Kind of Modification'. Therefore, every time, you install a new Mod, you basically take exactly the same risk. Just to mention it.
