Hi,

I try to upload / install Vqmod but this is not working.
See in the attachment, which error I get.

Also, with any other extension I try to install, I get an error, which says: Invalid file type.
In my settings, all types are open / allowed to be installed.

Does anyone know what I can do?

Thanks!

Bloom

Thanks!!

Now I didn't install Opencart myself and not from my computer.
If I install Opencart again I will lose my whole website, won't I?

There's a difference between vqmod and ocmod(opencart 2.0's native take on vqmod)

It looks like you were trying to install a vqmod using the extension installer which only accepts ocmod.
Just use FTP to upload the xml to the folder /vqmod/xml
There's a lot of information about ocmod and vqmod on the forums ;)

Attn: I no longer provide OpenCart extensions, nor future support - this includes forum posts.
Reason: OpenCart version 3+ ;D

Thanks!

It depends, if you downloaded/save the entire SHOP-File Content, regularely, after having done any
Update-Work, completely, as it IS installed, then, you just have to UPLOAD the 'latest working Collection'
again, without doing any harm to your Setup. But you don't need to download/re-upload cached
files out of those subs, therefore, empty the Sub, by USE of your FTP-Client, first,
before downloading Shop Data, it's of no use, to loose/waste down/upload time,
on such temporary files, they will be created again anyway, next time, a visitor call's in.
/system/cache/ cachefiles
/vqmod/vqcache/ cachefiles
The DATA itself is all stored on the DB, according to the LAST Store-Setup, including all
Modifications, possible made by Use of OcMod's or VqMod's, existing in your Server
Shop Software, at that time. BACK UP your DB, in FULL, as well, on a regular schedule.
A free Mod exists, at least for v.15.x, probably able to work with v.2. as well, doing this for you,
on a daily scale, if required. Especially, if your'e 'playing' around with Mod's, or Re-Installations.

And your (formerly) empty, uploaded, two config.php Files now contain the Links, created
during installation, and Path's, to everything, so, you could even change the SHOP Sub-Directory
Name, and make those changes in your both config.php files as well, and it would work as before,
just placed now in, and called from, another Site Server Subdirectory.

But if you would RE-Install your Shop, from Scratch, on an existing, and working, Shop Site,
I really don't know, if/what an effect such possibly may have to an existing DB. I never tested
it (yet), others would know better!

Good Luck
