Hi,

A question that has been on my mind for a while now is how do many people use an MVC and dreamweaver?

In this day and age many people use editors such as dreamweaver to simplify their design process and even aid them in other areas such as ftp uploads.

However many of these editors (dreamweaver included) will not work well with MVC in regards to the design side of things.

As someone who is fairly new to MVCs I was wondering the processes that companies such as theme designer go through in order to build and design webpages for MVCs such as opencart using software like dreamweaver.

you could possibly use dreamweaver to create lovely buttons, shadowed sections, and all kinds of fancy stuff, or even use it to find out, if 'responsive Design', as done by dreamweaver, could be implemented for some additional Mod's, possibly working, but not designed to match OC v.2.x Responsivenes, by default, as example...

Other than that, you could design a MAJOR layout, JUST TO PICTURE IT!, by 'prelocating' OC-specific Coding, spacewise, into, i.E., the Header Part. then, just add the OC-specific Coding, where it belongs, combined with your Custom CSS-aligned images, Frames, whatever, to make it look swell. The same for the Footer Section, cut out, from the Page Image, the Footer part, and place it, as Background, or in Sections.

In the middle Part of a PAGE, it may get a little more complicated, depending on Modules, andVqMod's used, playing any Roll on some Pages, beeing placed atop, left, bottom, or right.

HTML CODE can be used, basically, a few day's ago, I found an OC File, consisting to ~99.9x Percent of plain HTML Content! ;D But this is a very 'rear' Case, if, then, Table/Listing Sections exist out of html, because it's probably simpler, in some Coding, to keep 'em in line :D , but exept for such, PLACEMENT and LOOK ist (usually) defined by CSS, in the OC v2 Version with the help of Bootstrap CSS, to make it CCSR 'Cheap Clone Smartie Resolution' capable. Googie want's it so, seemengly... ::)

BTW, it's not so much of a problem, in the first place, to 'make' default css 'relatively' responsive, if one concentrate on 'strict' percentage definitions, instead of fixed px-Values, and no 'absolute'-settings, whereever applicable. In WIDTH, by Nature of things! Much could be done, without 'hurting' the existing Source, and the way of doing it, in a way, producing problems, for OTHER THINGS, possibly implanted, into Source, by OcMod/VqMod Functions, killing the most wonderfull work, or making it look bad, at least, besides of possible errors, notable on top of the Page.... :o

Some Theme's consist of <= a handfull of files, and some of >=1 handfull of Subdirectories, containing Subdirectories, containing Masses of THINGS! Therefore, Problems are a logical Consequence of such, especially under the Aspect, that thousands of different 'Things' exist, for many different OC Versions. All this, combined, and TRIED, can possibly produce relatively intransparent Problems, once in a while. Installed, and used, by a probably huge Majority of 'untrained Personal'. Under that aspect, I sometimes wonder, it works (and takes it) so well...

Just, to give you a rough impression, as I see/feel it. It heavy depend's on your dreamweaver Knowledge, as well, if you can import the OC CSS, and handle it, or even the Bootstrap Stuff, you have great Things, ahead, to do! Last time, I played with this thing, was about 10 years ago, I guess..., so, I really don't know, what's possible, today, for such a prog. I still do all by hand (and eyes!)

Good Luck ;)
