Hi, I'm struggling to find answers to this on the forums so hopefully someone can pick this up and help me out with some advice? Would be most grateful.
While building an Opencart store, I also have an external site with it's own shopping basket. While it's not practical to combine the two sites, is there a way that Adding To Basket from the external site could somehow transfer the details into the Opencart shopping basket... so the customer only has one checkout?
Can you do such a thing, and is there a module or extension that would help me out?
Thanks
Paul

Okay, worth asking.. The external site isn't an Opencart one but i wondered if I could tweak the form on their so the ADD TO BASKET button the ext. non-OC site sends the order over to the OC site's basket for check out.
Just a thought
Thanks for the reply anyway

possibly, if OC would, in any way, accept such 'foreign' input. Wich, I do believe, will NOT be the case.
But go ahead! Good Luck, trying !

Hi there
I have done exactly what you require for another customer, in his case the website (www.vermontsales.co.za) is used by B2B partners exclusively by invitation, with the requirement being that any orders placed on the website should be automatically also created in the customer's legacy ERP system (using a SOAP interface).
If you would like to know more, please give me a shout.
