Hi,

I am new to OC and I am not a programmer. However my programmer not responding me well so I want to make small changes of my website by myself. I can change the appearance of my website using chrome or safari temporarily. I even change some color of the site using the stylesheet.css on the ftp permanently.

So here is my problem. I need to edit some words which are in English and should be in Turkish (e.g close, cancel etc.) and can edit the words and structure of my site using safari where the code lives in the index.php but when I go to ftp to change it permanently I can not find the index.php. Where can I find it or is there any other ways to change the words or add some links to the words using html code?

Thanks in advance.

You'll find the translation FILES in the language Folders, there is NO index.php to change. Just study the
http://docs.opencart.com/ Documentation, to find out, where those files are placed,in the software.

Thank you for your reply. I am confused because when I choose a word in safari, it shows it in an index.php file. But I find the files and make the changes I want, thank you.

Sure, you find the Code in your SAFARI Browser, but a Browser only displays a FINAL PAGE CODE, created by MANY Files, placed in a Framework Software. Unfortunately, it's not as easy, as it shows.... ;)
