Carousel/banner/featured/welcome: howto

Having deleted the sample data and disabled the Carousel, Featured, Banner and Welcome modules, and entered new data, then re-enabled the modules, I now don't see -- sorry if I'm missing something obvious, but I've looked and looked, searched this forum, and so on -- how to get a Product to show up in any of these modules. I'm sure it's something simple and -- when you know it -- quite obvious, but I can't see it. Help please, and sorry if this is a dumb question.

To add items to your carousel module, go to "Extensions->Modules" in your admin, edit the carousel module and select the "banners" that you created under "System->Design->Banners" that you want to display in that module.

To add items to your banner module, go to "Extensions->Modules" in your admin, edit the banner module and select the "banners" that you created under "System->Design->Banners" that you want to display in that module.

To add products to your featured module, go to "Extensions->Modules" in your admin, edit the featured module and select the products you want to feature.

The "Welcome" module is not part of OpenCart 2.x. It has been replaced with the HTML content module.

You have to add your own content to these modules. It is not automatic.
