we have one opencart about one domain name, but we want change domaing name for commercial interests, but we want mantain old domain name in order to preserv our positions in google.
for it, its possible use on OC store with 2 domain names. Or we only can use one domain name and redirect other one?
We want could use addresses as
http://www.A.com//index.php?route=produ ... uct_id=100
http://www.B.com//index.php?route=produ ... uct_id=100

i think i havent explained good.
i've OLDdomain.com, its my old domain, and now i've NEWDomain.com.
Opencart is installed over OLDdomain.com, and runing good. Ok, i want that if somebody visits NEWdomain.com could navigaate in opencart viewing url for sample as:
http://www.NEWdomain.com/index.php?rout ... duct_id=40
and mantain http://www.OLDdomain.com/index.php?rout ... duct_id=40 visible for google boots

On your Server, you can configure different Domains, and route all of them to the same Server Sub.
Even, if the URL changes, afterwards, due to the Shop configuration settings,it will not matter, on some servers, you can set ther URL to keep the choosen value, and redirect indirectly, kind of....
That's all.

http://www.gratisangebote.ch/
So, you'll keep, what you have, by Google, JUST MAKE SURE, to actively GOOGLE-INDEX one Site only, because Google does not like Cross-Site indexing very much!
