Hi can anyone please help.

I've just moved my open cart website to a new server, updated the config files (and domain names have stayed the same etc).

The site looks like it is working really well, all except trying to access the /admin section. This just appears as a white blank page with no login boxes.

In the admin folder error log I am getting this error:
[06-May-2015 16:05:09 Europe/London] PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function isLogged() on a non-object in /home/hosting/public_html/catalog/model/catalog/product.php on line 8
Can anybody please help with a fix?

Thanks very much indeed for any help.

>> /home/hosting/public_html/ <<
Is this Server path matching your NEW Server, in your (modified) config.php FILES?
It's not only the URL, wich matters...

Hi thanks Ernie but the config file in both /admin/ folder and webroot have the correct new paths...

I do get an error in the admin log which is:

Code: Select all

[07-May-2015 17:37:58 Europe/London] PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function isLogged() on a non-object in /public_html/catalog/model/catalog/product.php on line 8

I've tried restoring from backup and re-uploading but it still isn't working. Can a different PHP version or MySQL version etc cause this? Is there a setting to tell OpenCart what you're running that needs updating etc?

Thanks for any help to fix this...

hi it was the /admin/config.php file.

I installed a fresh install of Opencart and then pulled in the new config file over the old one. Updated the paths again and everything now works. thanks for the help! :)
