Hi,

On the products page there is a red message by magic scroll. Please see the attached image and red message that appears over the scrolling thumbnails. Not sure how to fix it because at my end I don't see it but the client sees it. Also I tried to look into FTP but couldn't find any folder for Magic Scroll or anything like that. But we have magic zoom installed and in admin I see endless scroller enabled in modules.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

It appears your theme is using third-party commercial software that needs to be purchased. From the name it's likely javascript.

Ask your theme developer. They would know where the plugin came from.

Hi Farzana,

The Magic Zoom for OpenCart extension comes with trial version of Magic Scroll for scrollable thumbnails.

1. If you don't need scrollable thumbnails effect, just de-activate it. Go to: Extensions > Modules > Magic Zoom > Edit > 'General' section > Scroll thumbnails > Select 'No' > Save changes.

2. If you want to use Magic Scroll, purchase a Magic Scroll license using your £10 discount coupon (sent when you purchased Magic Zoom) > Upgrade Magic Scroll on your website to full license.

If you do not know your Magic Scroll £10 discount coupon, please contact us and we will send it to you:

Thanks!

Hi Farzana,

Yes, you can buy your Magic Scroll license here:

https://www.magictoolbox.com/buy/magicscroll/

Be sure to enter your £10 discount coupon here:

http://screencast.com/t/sC5H69Vt3Ww

1. Follow the payment process.

2. We will then send you a Unique URL which will take you to your Magic Scroll license page.

3. Click the magicscroll.js stand-alone blue button.

http://screencast.com/t/9gokhOHY4b3A

Note: The magicscroll.js file will download to your computer.

3. Upload that file to your server, overwriting the old magicscroll.js file (the demo one).

4. Clear your browser cache. The 'Please upgrade' message will disappear.

Tip...

A quick way to find where the demo version of the magicscroll.js file is located on your server is to:

a) Go to the web page where you are using Magic Scroll.

b) Press 'CTRL' + 'U' at the same time (the source code of your page will appear).

c) Press 'CTRL' + 'F' at the same time (the Find box will open).

d) Type magicscroll.js > Press 'Enter' > You will be taken directly to the file, which will show the full reference of its location on your server.

If you have any problems, please contact us.

Thanks!
