HELP - disable stock

Hi, I think I may have found a bug but this is so frustrating. I disabled stock from showing up on the site in the back end, my client DOES NOT want the IN STOCK, OUT OF STOCK, or ANY STOCK INFORMATION showing on the product live. But it STILL SHOWS UP. Why am I disabling it and it still shows up?

Well, stock control is one thing, which can be disabled, so when it's disabled it's supposed to be in stock whatever is you're selling, thats probably why. If you want to remove any stock reference you can edit the product template to remove or hide it from the layout.
