i am using 2.0.1.1

If I were you I would first setup your email through a client like Thunderbird and make sure you can send and receive without issues.

Then, if that is good set up the mail settings in admin

my settings are

Mail Protocol: mail

Mail Parameters: (nothing here)

SMTP Hostname: mail.mywebsite.com

SMTP Port: 465

465 port is ssl? Im setup as mail with same settings as port 25 and it workS is oc 2,x Ssl hard wired?

Not sure, those are the settings my host told me to use: looked it up and it says

"Port 465 is for smtps - SSL encryption is started automatically before any SMTP level communication."

I dont think its host related, i have setup same mail in another program and it works fine, i will need to trace it through,

I solved the no mail issue but when i update the status of an order and click notify, no emails are sent... anyone?
