I want to install file uploading module to an opencart admin. I tried many modules like file manager and uploadfile module etc. None of them work and I found the vqmod installed on the website is not working. I don't see vqmod manager options in admin too. I have been working on this for days now.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Just don't understand me wrong, but you should familiarize you first, before trying to just upload a bunch of Mod's, and just expect them the work, just like that. > VqMod Installation does not automatically include a VqMod Manager, that's another Extension. You also 'activate' some of you your Modifications/Extensions in your Admin / User Group / Topadmin Section to make them work. Also, don't repeat the same Posts all over, you'll get not more replies.
Good Luck, you'll need it ;)

Thank you Ernie for the reply.Sorry for posting the question more than once .I am new to opencart/php and had a tight deadline, but I am still very confused with the information I found around regarding Vqmod .
This is what I understand 1- Install VqMod , 2- Install VqMod Manager (I assume this will give me menus in admin like Extensions->Extension Installer), 3- Install the file upload module from Extension Installer.

Please correct me if I am wrong and thanks for the Good Luck..I still need it :)

1- Install VqMod and activate it by use of the HREF-Command http://yourshop/vqmod/install/index.php
2- Install a VqMod Manager, they look, at least in OC v.1.5.6.x like shown on the image.

3- Install the file upload module from Extension Installer.
This, I cannot reply to, because I upload my STUFF, checked and 'cleared', by ftp, so, I just don't know, how an extension installer works.
I would NEVER in my Life upload an unopened and unchecked packed file, and install it anywhere. Old Style ;)
Further, I use no OC v.2.x. I have enough problems already, as it is... ::)

Some Mod's have to be, kind of, ACTIVATED by allowing them to be used, by Someone, specified, as shown on the bottom image. Always check there FIRST, after EVERY Mod Upload/Install, and ALLOW ALL Extensions at best, for the TOP-Administrator, to make sure, this STEP is done, to validate all, to be used/handled by am individually, accepted USER-Group Member, at first. OC v.2.x should use similar Titles, I assume, at least.

Good Luck

Check in your v.2 admin section, it should be called in a similar way, and make sure, your file 'type' is allowed to be uploaded. If not, add appropriate values to make it work.
Image is from a v.1.5.6.x Version, I have no working v.2.x at present.

Good Luck
