Does anyone know how to setup the emails with Hostagator.
I followed their directions and Opencart doesn't seem to send emails of order updates or receive any via the contact us form.
Any advice please?

Mail Protocol: SMTP
SMTP Hostname: mail.mysite.com
SMTP Username: sales@mysite.com
SMTP Port: 25
SMTP Timeout: 10
I was using Mali Protocol: Mail that did not work with Hostgator.

I can confirm that these settings still apply for host gator for anyone using the search function on the forums.

I am not sure what's going on with HG but we're receiving more and more emails from Opencart users hosting with HG and they have this same type of issue. If HG support is unable to help, I'm not sure how you can fix this since they are the only ones that can see the server log and read the errors to solve them for you.
