This is a minor bug and may not even be considered one. However, some people may find this useful.
SYMPTOM(S):
I created a test sub-category but cannot delete it. I tried disabling it, making it a parent category, unchecking it from the default store; but when I click the delete button (while the category check box is selected), nothing happens. There is nothing in the error.log. I tried with display errors enabled (E_ALL), but nothing is shown.
CAUSE(S):
If you delete an image, file, etc. Google Chrome will display two popup boxes. The first is a warning from OC, the second is Chrome asking you to "Prevent this page from creating additional dialogs".
If you check the "Prevent this page.." and click OK, then the delete button will not function when trying to remove categories. I didn't test it with deleting anything else.
SOLUTION(S):
Do NOT "Prevent this page from creating additional dialogs". If you have done so already, simply restart Chrome. You should be able to use the delete button again.
