How To: Add Files - That only dealers can see?
So I have a Dealers Group and I approve the dealers as they sign up.
I want to make certain files available to them only.
What's the best way to manage this?

I suppose I could edit the tpl and put an IF statement that filters out users that aren't Dealers.
I was trying to avoid making edits to the code until I'm comfortable with vQMOD but this is the biggest thing I need before making the site live.

it would not be a very efficient way, I guess, to check every product, before beeing listed, in any and every Section of OC, if it may be viewed by a 'qualified' person or not, it would slow down Shop Performance very badly, at best.
You better create a second shop, for Dealers only, only allowing them to enter the store, if logged in as 'qualified' dealer. I recall a Mod, doing such, somewhere in the extension section.

You better create a second shop, for Dealers only, only allowing them to enter the store, if logged in as 'qualified' dealer. I recall a Mod, doing such, somewhere in the extension section.

I'm trying to warm up to the OpenCart structure; how do I do the following?
I have a PDF that I want on the Account page but only if they are Dealer group.
I have two customer groups, one is Standard (customer_group_id = 1) and the other is a Dealer (customer_group_id = 2).
I want the Dealers to see the file in their account page (only Dealers - not Standard).

There are a few nice extensions that I purchased that work really well.
