There are two "XML Import Pro" extensions, one by HostJars and one by developer DEAWid. This thread pertains to the one by DEAWid, here:

http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... n_id=20834

I tried several different formats (tag arrangements) of an XML file to use with this importer by DEAWid, and for each one, using XML Import Pro installed into my standard (new, unmodified) OpenCart 2 installation, at the first step (screenshot 1) the message is "XML file successfully downloaded" However, in the second step (second tab of the module, the field assignments or mapping), I receive this error message: "XML file is damaged" (screenshot 2)

SO, I decided to test DEAWid's XML Import Pro module using his own example .xml file, here--

http://www.deawid.com/upload/simple.xml

---but it produced the same results ("XML file is damaged" in second step of import, field-mapping)

Is anyone else who has bought XML Import Pro for OpenCart by DEAWid (not HostJars) having the same problem? I'm wondering whether it has anything to do with my webhosting service's configuration (LiteSpeed instead of Apache, MariaDB instead of MySQL, security settings). Hmm--
