It depends on what you want.

The Excel Import/Export is the oldest and most popular for sure. But it only does category, product, and option tables.
It won't help you with import export of all the other tables like customers, orders, addresses, statuses, etc.

There is also Uber CSV which uses a true CSV format to export and import raw table data with the intention of quickly exporting data from an existing opencart table, batch editing the data (changes and new rows) within a spreadsheet tool (excel, libre office, open office, etc) and then reimporting back into to the database or another opencart database with a similar structure. It also works with custom tables that are used by 3rd party mods because it does dynamic lookups from the database to see all the tables and columns. So this tool will let you do things like
- export/import ANY table (address, customers, orders, etc)
- export data from a 1.5.x store and import to another opencart store ... even a 2.0 store. It has smart column matching and auto-dbprefix detection.
- export a few records at a time as opposed to having to edit the entire table content. It will intelligently use the id field to determine that if the id already exists for this record, then it should "update" the original.. if the id doesn't exist, then it will "insert" new.

However, keep in mind that because it is raw, it allows greater flexibility, but also doesn't maintain any of the relational linking. So using it for inserting new products is not recommended because you'll need to manually maintain the new product id's across all of the 15+ product related tables (product_description, product_to_store, product_to_category, product_tags, etc). But it does great for other tables and especially custom mods that have their own db tables like my offline cc mod to ensure you can quickly export a list of the records and adjust if needed.

So you may find yourself needing multiple import/export tools depending on your needs.

There is Store Manager for OpenCart management software that included import/export functionality.

It supports export to csv, xml, html, txt, xls, xlsx formats. Exporting to csv file you will be able to export all or selected products, choose the info to bring to file (what fields to export).

The app is not free, but you can check free fully-function trial available for 2 weeks with free support to guide you -

True. Most of us use Excel for csv, I think.
