Cant get Export/Import to install into OC 2.0.1.1

Hi, I have a newly installed verion 2.0.1.1 of opencart at www.projectdoctor.org and wish to export/import data. I have installed your tool and no matter what I do, I cannot get access through the admin panel.

I have tried updating the qvmod to the one recommended for version 2.0.1.1 but still no success.

I can see the tool is listed under the System/user/usergroup and have enabled but when I go to the Extensions/Modules, it is not listed. I also cannot see it under tools or any other menu heading.

I have also searched this forum but all I can find is a reference with the same problem but installing the appropriate qvmod seemed to fix it. I tried this but still cannot access. What should I do please?

Also having probs getting this one to work. Brand new fresh 2.0.1.1 install on a subdomain. Uploaded via extension installer, first failed cuz i didnt have ftp set up. Configured that, ran the Clear option and re-upped it and this time it succeeded. Went to User groups, enabled permissions and it now shows up in my Mods but I can't edit it or use it. And yes, I hit the refresh option in top right corner too. Is there another place to invoke it?

nevermind, turns out my VQMod wasnt installed. Got it installed and now can see the import/export tool.

Hello, have same problem. have install import/export tool via extension installer. and after, it shows only in "modifications", But i cant edit and use it. can anyone help?

Hi moneycarlo, what is the Clear option please? I have the latest VQMod installed to sui9t opencart 2.0.1.1 and still doesn't work.

I got this to work by clicking refresh in the modifcation list page it also list this step in the readme.text but not in other instructions

My attempts to install the Import/Export Tool are failing at step 2 of the instructions in the readme.txt file -

In the OpenCart admin backend, do the following steps:

Step 1)
Go to Extensions > Extension Installer

Step 2)
Upload the opencart-2-0-0-x-export-import-multilingual-2-xx.ocmod.zip

The error messages I am getting are that over the Extensions Installer screen I get a Server 500 error popup, plus in the server error log I get -

- [warn] [client ip address] mod_fcgid: HTTP request length 132319 (so far) exceeds MaxRequestLen (131072), referer: http://mydomain.com/opencart/admin/inde ... ahblahblah

Can anyone give me a pointer to clear these errors and let the import/export tool install please?

I following instruction on readme.txt , nothing problem.
i found this extension in dashboard > Tools > export/import

I had this issue all looked good but I couldn't add the permissions to my usergroup.

If you are finding that the Tool-export entry is not in your permission tabs, check within your FTP settings and ensure that your "FTP Root" is set correctly. For most hosting plans it should be /public_html

Set this, delete and reinstall the module and you should find that it is now there.
