Welcome module missing on 2.0.1

Where has the welcome module gone in order to put text on my home page? Why has it disappeared from the module section?

There is now a general HTML module, which functions the same as the Welcome module in previous versions.

All modules are listed in Extensions > Modules. You can find one called "HTML Content" there.
