Another header problem - add a link

I have customize my header .. i did not want the menu(categories) to show up... i changed the background and i added a logo picture ... the one thing i can not figure out is - how do i add a link so that a user can go into my store with the categories showing up on the left hand side ... i want to have a button that says .. Store Front...
