I tried to change the default number of items showing in a category. Instead of saving, it told me, "Warning: Please check the form carefully for errors!" Later I tried just opening the store settings and saving without changing. It gave the same warning.

Oddly, when I looked for errors, I saw that the icon had been replaced by the logo. When I cancelled and reopened, the correct icon was back. When I tried to change default number of items displayed in a category, it got replaced again.

Totally bizarre and I cannot change anything. Ready to rename store "The Hindenburg"

I'd be keen to know if you got anywhere with this problem. I upgraded to Opencart 2.0 and added a theme extension this morning. Long winded installation process but got there in the end. Went to complete the store details and as soon as I went to save, all hell broke loose with reams of errors running across my screen. The only way out was to hit the back key. I tried it again and everything I was putting in was correct (even adding a store name created an error).

Getting very cheesed off with purchasing theme extensions that are supposed to be compatible and user friendly and they end up giving me one mother of a headache and little progress.

Not yet. Two things were going on just before it happened.

1. I tried to change the email address of the store.

2. An extension developer was logged in at the same time as me.

I have no idea why either of these things would make it impossible for me to change store settings now. Our company's policy is to not provide logins to anybody not under contract and associated with the software, so I am on my own. I have started cloning the store to a different subdomain after several days of despair.

As for extensions, braintree payments by rmullany and ups deluxe by qphoria are working well for me. I am wary of theme extensions, so I changed some font colors and stuff on my own.

Have the same error in 2.0.1.1
Anybody, please release some fix

Code: Select all

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected 'if' (T_IF), expecting function (T_FUNCTION) in admin/controller/setting/setting.php on line 1311
