What shipping method are you using? What settings have you entered in it?

Under shipping enabled a flat rate, at 1.99 and that's it.... when you go to check out it has not added it.

1. If you're using any modifications related to shipping, disable them to make sure it's not related.

2. Double-check that you've enabled the "Shipping" line item (in Extensions > Order Totals). The "Shipping" line won't appear without that.

3. If neither of those things work, post a screenshot of your settings.

All of that looks correct to me. Perhaps check your currency settings?

Beyond that, I'm not sure what to suggest, other than installing a fresh installation to test it, or hiring a commercial developer to take a look at the issue for you.

It must be something so small that's not quite right?

By currency settings, I meant check your currency conversion values. If your default currency is not set to 1.0000, it can cause conversion issues.

I just went back and checked your screenshots, and I think I see the issue -- you've entered a currency symbol in your flat rate value.

Enter it without the currency symbol (which shouldn't be there) and it should appear as expected. Hope that helps
