Sorry for another email question, but I've been trying for a while now to resolve this but with no success!

I'm using Opencart for the first time, and everything seems to be working fine except order confirmation emails aren't working, either sent to me or the buyer. Emails from the contact form, or if a new account is made work fine though.

Currently have it set on just 'Mail', have tried SMTP but with no luck, this seems to break all the emails. and have tried adding -f in front of the email in the mail tab with no luck.

I assume that as I am getting some emails, the problem is with Opencart rather than my webspace provider? I am only currently only on a free server(orgfree.com) if that makes any difference, but wanted to get everything working before I think about extra costs of paid servers.

Any help is much appreciated, and sorry if this has been covered before.

I've worked around this by creating a mandrill account and setting email to smtp in OpenCart.

Just seen you had mentioned this on another topic, so have done this and it works fine, so thanks very much! Can't understand why it doesn't work with my normal mail providers SMTP settings though.
