Can anybody please let me know what is the process of seller account approval?
Why is it that OpenCart guys do not reply to your seller account approval for months?
What makes OpenCart admins wake up and take action on either approving or disapproving a seller account?
What is the eligibility criteria if any? Having shared free add-ons with more than 750+ downloads is not enough?

as long as nobody knows you around here at the Forum, it's of no big help to call someone...
To make them aware of you, I place the link, if it does not help, it will not hurt either:

Btw the link you have added to your signature does not seem to be valid. 'opernshop.li' - do you have an extra 'r' in it?

I don't like to bump my posts but it seems I have failed to get anyone's attention.
Are there no approved sellers around here?

It took like a month and a half for them to approve our seller account. I think we applied in Sept. Sent 2 contact mails probing them about it before it worked out and got approved. Dont pester them though...
Just be patient, maybe release another free mod, start answering some forum posts to help people. All of them may help expediate

No offence intended, but:
You also stated that you had a few free add-ons that had been downloaded a number of times. You provide a link to them in your signature. No problem with that. It helps members find your "stuff" to see if it's useful for them. But, they're only going to see it if you're active on the forum answering their questions and providing the help that they're after.
I spent around two years as a member of this community, providing help and support to other members, as well as a few free modules (which I still provide): Homepage, News/Blog, Tell a Friend, Image Gallery (to name a few - over 7,000 downloads to date, if you want to bandy figures - here's a list), before I even considered putting a price tag on anything I built.
Perhaps you should consider making a contribution to the community before expecting the community to make a contribution to you.
Just an idea.
- You haven't been a member of this community for very long.
You haven't provided any help and/or support to members of this community.
You've made three posts, all of them complaining about not having a seller account approved.

Thank you for your feedback. I really appreciate.
I wouldn't mind contributing more in the forum but I want to know how being a forum member has any relation to the a seller account? The account at opencart website was created long before this forum account.
If forums account and activity has any relation with approval of a seller account what prevents OpenCart admins mentioning this upfront on seller account approval page?
Basically my complaint is not that there are certain 'requirements' to meet ... my complaint is that why those requirements are kept obscure? Why are they not clearly mentioned upfront so that one can work towards meeting those requirements?
About contributing in the forum - One usually make posts in relation to something he is currently active about. I just couldn't make much sense out of random browsing of the forums looking for possible posts that can be answered... but I will try more ... answer for the sake of answer if that is what matters.

What contribution have I asked the community to make to me?Perhaps you should consider making a contribution to the community before expecting the community to make a contribution to you.
Its not a requirement to post in forums, but if the same people who moderate forums see your account awaiting approval, they may click approve faster.
Its kind of hit or miss i guess, 1 account took months, a client who did the same thing took like a week. Im sure they are just busy, especially with the new 2.0 and floods of contact messages.

Total download as of today are 949. I think I will wait a couple of days so that I cross 1K mark and then contact them again.
