column/contaner background colour Help

Hi All

hope I can explain this right and hope someone can help!!

I have just added a custom background image for my website and need to change the main central column/container background to white how do i do this??

Thanks for the help its filled one of the areas I wanted to do the image below marked in red is the areas im wanting fixed to white

You should wrap header, content by <div id="page-content"> element and change background image for #page-content
