Can OpenCart 1.5 and 2.0 co-exist on the same server? Specifically, the database - I don't want to run the install script only to find that my current production database gets overwritten. I'll install my store under a different directory but wasn't sure if the install will allows you to set up unique database. I'm looking forward to moving to 2.0!

Thanks in advance for your help.

You would need to create a separate database for 2.0 or it would overwrite your 1.5 data. Otherwise, install 2 in a subdirectory and yes, they can co-exist.

Running Opencart v3.0.3.9 with multi-stores and the default template from https://www.labeshops.com which has links to all my stores.

thanks for quick response. I was able to set up a database for version 2 but just found out that I'm only running version 5.2 of PHP on my server and OC 2 install came back with "PHP5.3+ Required".

I can upgrade to PHP5.4 via my cPanel... that shouldn't be an issue with my current 1.5.1.3 site, right?
