Is opencart suitable for this?

I sell CD press/print products and have a kind of complicated price/quantity model. I have been researching different shopping platforms to see if I can make it meet my requirements but so far It does not look too good.

The product has a base configuration whose price needs to be quantity dependent. The product has options which also has to be priced based on the selected quantity.

So for example:
Qty = 100
Base product x 100 = 10€ / each
Option 1 x 100 = 2€ / each

Qty = 1000
Base product x 1000 = 9€ / each
Option 1 x 1000 = 1.5€ / each

The quantity must be increased in steps, preferably a list of fixed steps defined by me because I would like to use different step length within a list.

The price for the product must be calculated with quantity so the customer can see both the single product price and the product multiplied with quantity price, and this with ajax. :-)

As you see the requirements are pretty complicated. I hope to get some good ideas as how to get this set up. If you know of good plugins that can offer all or some of this functionality then please share your thoughts with me.
