No my products arent download products - that is no download link has been set up for them. In essence a customer purchases a product and they will receive registration details and other to make it a full working version. They trial version they download else where.
I have attempted to create a dummy user account but also no luck
Any chance you login to my admin and have a very quick look through. Be happy to buy you a beer or two mate.

I will play around with it a little more to see why this is not working.
I can get the 'Log in to paypal" button to appear no problems but not the paypal express checkout.
I even did a fresh installation with no data but one product only and nothing. I was able to get it on OC 1.5.6

No problem. Tis just we have had occurrences of people offerng to pay for work on here in the past and payment has not been forthcomng. (not saying you wouldn't of course)
Therefore tis best to go through the proper channels etc when paid work is involved to keep everyone happy ;-)
I don't mind answering questions on here as best I can (same for the other mods), but when it is a request to spend time troubleshooting on someone's server/site then it becomes a professional job for which a professional should be contracted to do the work; one with professional indemnity insurance for example incase it all goes pear-shaped and the client sues the developer for taking down their site for example.

I would have been happy to pay something upfront for you as well. I follow an ethical code and cant understand ppl either that say one thing but do another....so agree with you.

Ok now i have finally my button working adding a couple of files from opencart in github, but the button does not calculate shipping fee.
How can i add this fee? i've already implemented it in all the admin places and, if i continue with checkout of the cart, are calculated normally.

You need to be very careful now downloading from github as Daniel has completely rewritten the module system (files and database)
@killrob - PayPal Express Checkout doesn't send shipping initially when you first get to paypal.
The flow is: go to paypal, login or add card details, return to the website to confirm order and shipping costs.

well I have this same problem tried everything this is a bug. you go to the cart product pages and before paypal express is enabled it fills the screen. with paypal express enabled a blank area fills the right side. also can't enable the account either same you get a blank side bar nothing there it shifts everything left like it should load but not...
the best I could get so far is the paypal option at the point of checkout. if your a guest you have to fill info if your a account holder you can checkout without supplying info. No paypal express button to go to paypal from the product page or the cart only a bullet select at checkout. so that's the best I could get from it. maybe they'll update to have the express button elsewhere besides just the bullet text select at checkout. Or am I missing an extension for that pretty paypal express button uksitebuilder has in his cart.

When you enable it in the layouts you need to specify a route (ie checkout/cart) and then the paypal express button will show up.
