I have been trying to Integrate PayPal shortcut button in OpenCart 2.0.0.0, with no luck on the shortcut button,
I have been to modules and have enabled the shortcut button but it is never displayed.
I have entered all the API credentials from PayPal.
please assist to get the shortcut button.
I have subscription products and also normal one time payment physical good on my site.

Any person getting more than just the enable/disable status on the PP express checkout module as per attachment?
I am just not seeing anywhere where I can choose a layout to assign to the Paypal exoress checkout layout.

yes, that is because it is broken
Hence why I posted above that I have submitted it as an issue.
It seems though, the issue has been closed without immediate resolution by Daniel.
So either he knows about it and is fixing it or he doesn't believe it is a bug.

OK, I have this workng now.
The reason the PayPal Express button will not show are as follows:
1. The Cart has no products in it and no vouchers in it (i.e. the cart is empty don't show the PP Express Button)
2. Products in the cart have no stock and checkout if no stock is not enabled
3. The customer is not logged in and (products in the cart are recurring or there is a download product in the cart)

thx for reply but for me doesn't work,
i have added in the cart an item with 5 product in stock, in product layout there is the rigth column totally empty and no button, if i go and see the cart, there is the item in it but no button showed. If i go on with checkout i can select PPexpress as payment and the transaction can be done.
Can u show me in your site this button finally visible?

I actually also have the same as Killrob.
Checked all the points you made uksitebuilder but still nothing.
I added paypal express checkout to product layout under settings/banner/layout with content top and sort order 0
PP express checkout is enabled.
Have not enabled log in to paypal express under modules - I think this is only necessary if have guest checkout
The products I have are either one time purchase or subscription based. Either one does not display icon

You mention sbscription products, those will require the user to be logged in before the button is shown.

You can create any data entries you want or test user name as I will delete all test data created at some later stage.

It looks like your products may be download products?
If so, the user must be logged in to purchase with paypal express.
