My home page modules are not showing when i have them set up under layouts for the home page and the module is actives.

in Admin -> System -> Design - Layouts
edit the 'Defaut' layout
Clear the route text box and save
edit the 'Manufacturer' layout
Completely delete the row which has the route 'common/home' ands save
edit the 'Defaut' layout
