The upcoming OpenCart 2.0.0.1 (currently available as 2.0.0.1b) should really be a 2.1.0.0 version, because it is much more than a bugfix release for 2.0.0.0.

For example, OCmod has been undergoing significant changes, all its operations are now lines-based. There are new DB tables, such as affliliate_login or customer_login. Or some changes were done to the DB table structures for 'language' and 'modification'.

Enough changes to potentially break some extensions written for OC 2.0.0.0 !

Yes, please! Significant changes like these affect how extensions work, which makes stating version compatibility extremely difficult (since you can't easily say "compatible with 2.0.0.x").
