Module removal

There are modules in OC that I will never use. How do I remove them and from the Module list?

Make sure they are not installed.
Delete their correspnding file from the following folders:

admin/controller/module
admin/model/module
admin/view/template/module
admin/language/english/module
catalog/controller/module
catalog/model/module
catalog/view/thmeme/default/template/module
catalog/language/english/module

* Note - There may not be a file in every folder listed above
