[SOLVED] OpenCart SSL Certificates - Which One?

I was hoping to find something very direct and concise on this subject (I think it is very much needed on the site).
There are three different types of SSL Certificates for web hosting that are currently available and I have no idea of which one to use in this situation. I have setting up a Muli-store cart with multiple different domain names pointing to the main store location so that each one can have it's own storefront. It is unclear as to which SSL my site will need (and why!). I have already setup multiple stores and CC processing from the main store. I have tested purchases from two stores and the are working correctly (without SSL). Now my concern is do I need a Single Domain SSL because all the IP Addresses are all the same or do i need the Multiple Domain UCC because all the domain names are different or a Wildcard Domain to cover all bases. I am running my store as a subdomain of a domain that is not used at all in the store. IE.

What should I use and more importantly why?

Did some research and found out that in the configuration that I posted I would need the UCC SSL Certificate (double the price of the Single SSL) simply because my OpenCart store was not on the hosted domain name and in the root folder of that domain.

If my OpenCart multi-store was in the root folder and using the hosted domain name then I could use the Single SSL Certificate then all my different store domain names could be pointed to the main domain and all would be fine IE. All domain names having the same IP Address.

One would never need the Wildcard SSL Certificate (7 times the cost of a Single SSL) unless you have OpenCart hosted on multiple totally different hosted domains (different IP addresses) IE. http://www.mydomain.com, http://www.yourdomain.com, http://www.theirdomain.com OR using many sub-domains in separate folders on the hosted domain. IE. http://www.mydomain.com, store1.mydomain.com, store2.mydomain.com etc...

So what I did was to create a new hosting site then point all my domain names to that hosted site and install Opencart in the root folder. Then I was able to use the Single SSL Certificate (least expensive SSL).

Youre right, the name of server is def good to think about. Even if not needing renamed, it should reflect the root portal domain + account. About the install point needing to be in the www root... you can def run any SSL via most basic A record from something like godaddy into any folder, through another HT, or whatever. Its dependent on how the host (or yourself in VPS) set it up. Off the top of my head, LiquidWeb supports this out-of-the-box, point anything anywhere without even needing to rename the server/account/etc.
