I have heard some rumors about a New Licensing System for opencart extensions that will let the developer (seller) to implement in his modules to avoid piracy and to let the user user his extensions only for one domain. When it will get launched?

I think you have to add this to your own extensions.

This is not an OpenCart.com "thing".

Understood, but it was also a opencart.com thing rumor, with details like, there would be an automatic licensing system for the users that buy them and developers will need to integrate it in their modules, but it will stay on opencart server and opencart server will do the processing and validating of the extension. It had been debated with hundreds of replies but can't find the thread.

I don't believe this was ever mentioned by the OpenCart team -- it was probably a discussion by developers. It certainly would be a good thing to do, but I don't think it's on their radar for any point in the near future.
