I'm copying some content into OpenCart from an old HTML site and I created a folder called Salt & Pepper (see screenshot 1). I now realise that Opencart doesn't like ampersands in folder names, so I tried to change the name and it won't let me, and won't let me delete it either.

I've also FTP'd onto the server to delete it there and it doesn't exist (see screenshot 2). Does anyone know how I can delete the Salt & Pepper folder?

Maybe it is possible in your filemanager in your hosting account.

what image you want to delete?

using FTP to access
you need to go to
image/data/... the real image file

image/cache/data/... the cache file
it is suppose image/cache is 0777/0755 permission

It wasn't an image I was trying to delete, it was a folder. Anyway, I've been able to delete it now, thanks for the replies :)

if you care for more problems, keep on using multi-word directory Names with open spaces between words.
just to mention it...

Thanks for the reply, Ernie, but I'm just putting the shell of the site together. The site owner has been informed about the proper use of hyphens and the perils of spaces :)
