Opencart for wholesale?

Hello!

I am thinking of using opencart for a wholesaling website and I was wondering how you can control registration?
I had a man look but only found options for managing accounts with no indication that you could manually filter every sign up?
Would it be possible to have a locked of section of an existing store or would it be best to have a completely separate one? I'm not set on either, but all in one would be nice I guess.

You can turn on to approve new customers in settings for the store.

You can use the multistore function of opencart to set one store locked for wholesale.
