I am facing following issue.

Existing Customer Logs In and Adds to Cart "Product A". However at the final stage of "Confirm Your Order" he abandons his order and leaves the site.
He comes back again Logs In and Adds to Cart "Product B". However at the final stage of "Confirm Your Order" he sees 2 products "Product A" and "Product B". Also at this stage he cannot edit the cart to delete "Product A" which he does not intend to buy.

I also checked whether in WishList "Product A" gets stored when he abandoned the cart first time but even WishList shows as empty.

How to resolve this issue?

I am new to Opencart so help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Harish

It's a feature. Your cart is saved for you when you are logged in and you leave
Then you come back and the assumption is that you are going to login and continue your checkout process.. so the item is there in the cart for you. But sometimes if you add different products, then get to the checkout step, and login, you forgot you had something in your cart before that was saved for you... so then when you get to step 6 and it shows you the list of products, you realize it is there. The only way to delete is to go back to the cart. I agree it is not a perfect feature.

Perhaps the best way would be to popup a box after logging in that says "Your previous cart items have been recovered." and show them the list with the option to remove them or update qty.

Is there no solution for this? Is there any Extn which takes care of this? Many a times customer will know of exisitng products at the last step of Checkout ie "Confirm Your Order". At this stage he can't even delete the products.
