Hi Jay,

I just uploaded your module to my webshop, but nothing happens. It doesn't seem to work.

I have tried tot change to the default theme, but it still doesn't work.

Could you take a look at it for me?

My site is: http://www.slingersenballonnen.com

Kind regards.

It appears you don't have vQmod installed on your site

I've tried to install both your extension: [VQMOD] Multilingual SEO URL's 1.5.X and [VQMOD] Better Product SEO Friendly Urls 1.5.X but they don't work.
I've installed VQMOD and it seems work correctly. Have you got any suggestion?
The website is www.bundishop.ch

Hi Nico

Have you entered your keywords for the categories of your products as well as the keywords for your products? If so, get in touch via e-mail/PM with FTP details and I will take a look

Kind regards
Jay

I want to get this for my site and am noticing in needed vqmod. I've tried to install this a bunch of times and it doesn't seem to do it right. It finally said upgrade complete one time but is not in my module list. Maybe my OpenCart already comes with whatever this is. I just don't want to purchase this and not be able to use it. I have version v1.5.6 of OpenCart and if its something that I just buy and follow the instructions and my urls are seo then great but again I don't want to buy and not be able to use it due to the vqmod installed or not thing.

Thanks

Hi Fonsworthe

I'm actually one of the two vQmod developers :-) vQmod does not show up anywhere in your opencart as such. If you have installed it and don't see any errors, that generally means it is working. If you want to know for sure, delete all the files in /vqmod/vqcache/ then reload your website and refresh that folder. If the files re-appear then it's working

Kind regards
Jay

Hello.

This seems as a really nice extension, dealing with the problematic behavior of Opencart towards product URL's.

I wanted to ask, does the rel=canonical also changes to the categorised url or it stays as it already is?

Thanks a lot!

Hi billkou

Yes it does. Every product URL that OpenCart generates becomes the categorised URL

Kind regards

This is good :)

I will buy this when I'm finished setting up my store in a couple of months. I found it while searching for something else, but it's an SEO saver.

Thanks a lot :)

I am currently using this module, but I need my categories to show full url. I thought this module will do the job, but it is not working for me. I needed to have urls for categories like this: mysite.com/parent-cat/sub-cat/ everywhere. Now in my menu and in canonical the link is just /sub-cat, on my sidebar category menu and sitemap it is /parent-cat/sub-cat. Someone solved this already?
