Are there any plans to allow this to start passing tax information to QBMS? Is there any time frame on this being implemented if so? I would really like to be able to use this but without taxes it's pretty useless for all my reporting/invoicing needs. Thank you!

The quick answer is "No".

The long answer is if I could get direction on the "tax" variable in Opencart I could easily implement it, but during the time when I was making it I could not figure out how to capture the value.

Hi Mike,

Fellow MN'n here. Curious as to if you've tested this on v1.5.4.1 yet? Have a customer that needs this for his site and we're just about done building it.

Just let me know.

I have not tested it under v1.5.4.1, but if you read the "comments" under this extension (last 2 right now), a Wendy from Minnesota also, successfully is using it for v1.5.4.1

I have a client that licensed this extension and like others, we are having an issue during the processing step. The payment doesn't ever go through, it just stays on the 'please wait' stage.

Her site is secured with a cert and is running via SSL. She is running version 1.5.4.1.

What's the next step in troubleshooting this?

Thank you for the response.

Like other people that may have an issue, you may not have the correct information you are using.

1. The "SSL" must be fully encrypted, not partially. Many times just because you have an SSL Certificate installed on your server, does not mean that the page is "fully" encrypted. This is typically always the problem, a website is only partially encrypted.

Causes have been mostly due to "custom" templates where an image file is not transferred as an "https" or a web based font is transferred by "http", typically Google Font based templates have not been coded "https".

2. The only other thing I have found from feedback and troubleshooting with people that have purchased the extension is:

You cannot use the same "values" between "Test" and "Live/Production".

Test is for the Intuit "TEST" server. The "test" values, AppID, AppLogin, and Connection Ticket are only applicable to that server.

Right fully so, for "LIVE/PRODUCTION" server. You need a completely different set of values for this server. These values are tied to your Merchant Account.

If you try using your "test" values on the "production" server it will stall out.

These are the only 2 things (minus not uploading ALL the files for the extension to your server) that the "few" people have had issue with that I have helped them identify.

As stated in the instructions, the person that purchases this extension has to get the "Live/Production" values from Intuit. These are your values that should not be sought by anyone else, obviously for security reasons.

Thank you,

Mike in MN

As a followup to my earlier post, I wanted to state that my client did not have the correct values entered into the system. After discussing this with Intuit support, she was able to get the information entered correctly and the payment method then worked fine. So it was not an issue with the payment extension but rather with values entered by the client.

Thanks for the excellent support charger!

I'm interested in purchasing, but need to know that it is compatible with the most recent version - v1.5.5.1
I sent a request to the email address listed earlier in the week, but have not received a response.
Anyone using this with v1.5.5.1?

Received an email on Monday, I did respond on Tuesday...

It has not been tested with the new version, but looking over the syntax of the newest version the payment module appears the same.

It should work with the new release.

You do not need to have Quickbooks (either verison) for this extension to work. You need to have a Merchant Account with Intuit (QBMS) in order to process credit card transactions with this extension.

FYI...I no longer am using this extension now. I switched to Payment Alliance.

Thank you.

I haven't heard anything about whether there has been testing beyond v1.5.5.1. I am using v1.5.6 right now and really would like to use this extension to work with my QBMS account.

We purchased this payment module and am hoping you can help us to get it to work.

We are experiencing the 'Please Wait' error that when you click 'Confirm Order' on the final step just pops up, then goes away, and nothing else happens.

I have confirmed that:
1. The full page is secure
2. The live/test QMBS information is different
3. The live QBMS information is accurate

And yet it is still not working properly.

Here are some notes on the install:
1. We are using OpenCart 1.5.6
2. We are using the Joomla integrated version of OpenCart (JooCart)
3. The QBMS URL we use for creating connections is "https://merchantaccount.quickbooks.com" and it's called Intuit Payment Solutions"
4. We don't see any place to obtain "test" information so we're just using dummy data for "test"

This appears to be the only Intuit payment module for OpenCart and our client really needs it to work on their website.

Thank you.

We have moved away from using the QBMS merchant service due to constant service problems.

That being said, I am unfamiliar with JooCart....Opencart payment side needs to be the same syntax as the standalone version.

Also, if you are sending test transactions to your merchant provider (Intuit)....you should be able to log into the admin side of the merchant account to see if they are receiving transaction information.

If they are no transactions, there is a problem from your site communicating with the Intuit server.

This could be due to your site not sending out the information or the incorrect connection ticket, appid, or applogin information you supplied to the OpenCart QBMS extension in the admin panel of Opencart and Intuit is not recognizing a valid login from your site.

I believe you have to turn on 3rd party processing in the Intuit merchant admin panel also to allow processing outside of the Intuit merchant system.

If you set up your connection ticket, appid and applogin correctly with Intuit and have your merchant service open to process 3rd party transactions, there should be no reason you should not be able to view transactions that were attempted in your Intuit Merchant admin screen. They may or should be declined transactions, but they should be listed there if everything is setup correctly.

Thank you!

I understad you no longer using this module. My question is do you know if this module works with the latest version of OpenCart?

Maybe someone has tested and can let us know.
