Guess you need some like a language and/or country detection code to display the correct language.

Yes it is possible.

Go here http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=27538 for guidance on how to set it up.

The tutorial shows you how to set it up for sub domains, but it works just as well for add-on domains.

In System | Settings | (edit) Store, set the appropriate default language / currency for each store.

Google Product Feed - Get your products into Google Shopping. Includes a bulk update facility.
Backup Pro - Backup (on demand or scheduled), Restore and Clone your store.
Freestyle Box - Add multiple information boxes on multiple pages of your store. Includes optional "Code Mode".

domain ABC.com set in your admin configuration->settings-> local language to English
domain ABC.de set in your admin configuration->settings-> local language to German

That did it for me.

That tutorial is for setting up multistore.
But not about displaying in the desired language for each automatically which I thought that he asking for.

Beside this, he could also define the standard shop language in the backend (store settings).

The OP asked if it was possible to have a Multistore with 2 domains with different languages and if there was a tutorial/ manual to help a beginner to do it.

He didn't say whether or not he already had a Multistore - I assumed he didn't, others assumed he did.

Hopefully, between us we have given him/ her enough information to get the end result they are looking for
