Adding shipping costs when adding a product.

Hi,

Is it possible when i add a product that i can also add the shipping costs or offer free shipping on that particular item. Some items i am selling have free shipping some i have shipping costs, I also have different shipping methods depending on what the item is and how much it costs to send. Some of my smaller items i send by royal mail, Some i send by myHermes and the heavier items i send by Yodel. I'm just wondering as i add a product i can also add the shipping costs.

Not without a different shipping method or modifying the system. You might consider using Ultimate Shipping, which can base its charges on product data fields. You could then fill in the product shipping cost (or just a flag to determine whether the product was free or not) in the Location field (or some other field).

Ultimate Shipping can also request rates from other shipping methods, so you can pass off the charge request to them if you're using live rate APIs.
