Organizing Products (Groups or Categories)

I dont know if this is the correct place to post a feature request for upcoming releases....or maybe there are extensions that already handle this. I am sort of new to OCart and just wish the products list in Admin were more easily organized into Groups or Categories. 1 long alphabetical list isnt very organized with hundreds or thousands of products.

The core program should have a way to create Groups/Categories for Clothes so you can keep tshirts, shoes, pants, etc.. and then sub-groups to further organize the shirts, shoes and pants. I used to use XCart (bought it) and it was organized like that. Much easier to find a particular product months later or batch edit those items in that whole group.

There are mods in the extension store to let you filter by category, by store, or pretty much any other way you want to. It's really a matter of personal preference, so isn't part of the core opencart.
