Hi,

Setting up a shop for client. Advised him to get a PayPal account since they had an option for "guest payments", i.e. the customer didn't need to get an account.

As it turns out, PayPal has changed all that. Customer MUST create an account to be able to pay. That's not what we want.

So, I've searched for other options (payment gateways) and thought Google Checkout would work.

But I cannot find any module for it.

My questions:

1. Where a free Google Checkout module?
2. Are there any other ways to make payment/checkout as smooth and hassle free as possible without this ridiculous "create account" condition?

What makes you think buyers must have a PayPal account? This isn't true at all. Go to https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/customer ... e-payments and scroll down to "PayPal Account Optional".

Google checkout can no longer be used for physical goods, so there is no module for it that I know of anymore.

Running Opencart v3.0.3.9 with multi-stores and the default template from https://www.labeshops.com which has links to all my stores.

I have the same problem in Norway :(. Have been told that paypal has removed that option. This stinks - they didn't even bother to let us know beforehand. Lost a lot of sales without knowing why! Anyone know of a workaround to this problem?
