Hi,

I'm looking for an extension that allows checkout to create multiple shipping groups and shipping rates due to ordered items being shipped by 2 or more different dropshippers (from different locations, obviously). Does such extension exist? I've been looking around for it in Extension catalogs for hours but unsuccessful.

It's similar to Amazon checkout process. Let's say you buy 3 products that are sold by 3 different sellers. On Checkout Page 2, Amazon will separate the shipment into 3 different packages from 3 different locations. Each of those package has different shipping rate options that you can choose. For instance, Amazon offers Prime 2-Days Free Shipping, Free shipping (5-10 days), Regular shipping (2-3 days) for $7 and Next day shipping for $25 (1 day). Then you have Seller XYZ A in New York City offering regular shipping (5-10 days) for $5 and regular shipping (2-3 days) for $10. You get the idea....

By the time you reach the final page of checkout (the one where it summarizes everything before you finalize your order), it adds up total shipping cost and STILL gives you the last opportunity to change the shipping options in case you change your mind. If you do change them, the total shipping cost and total cost are calculated real time and shown right there before you click "Purchase" and finalize the order.

If there're shipping/checkout extensions that work like that for multiple dropshippers, that would be awesome ;D . Plus, if they're also compatible with fast checkouts (similar to Amazon's 4-pages checkout steps) that will be even better.

Thanks in advance!!!

My Individual Shipping can do this. I have an update almost ready that can allow you to group products by any product data field, so you can group them individually, by manufacturer, or by custom data in one of the product fields like "Location".

It's coded as a standard shipping method, so it doesn't require any core edits, and will use any of your installed shipping methods. Feel free to take a look at the screenshots and demo site, and if you're interested let me know at www.getclearthinking.com/contact if you have any further questions.
